| Gonzo: Just more of the same
After the Eagles' terribly disappointing performance in Arizona, the Eagles' president parroted the Einstein adage about how doing the same things but expecting different results is lunacy. But that's what happened this season with the Eagles, and that's what happened against the Cardinals. They duped us into believing the end would be different this time even though the means never changed. And so we were treated to an encore performance of a show we've seen before and grown to hate. The final act played out yesterday with no changes. It unfolded just as it had following the other lackluster NFC championship defeats. Moving boxes spotted the locker-room floor at the NovaCare Complex. They were full of clothes and hats and other things the players planned to take with them into the off-season ether.
